Samsung copies industrial design, Google copies UI design
So, Google launches Nexus, their new handset produces by our old pal Samsung, the company that basically steals everything Apple. The fun part is that after seeing the Nexus’ site, I kinda start to believe Google hired some designers fired from or inspired by Apple. For instance, the new Android mp3 player app looks terribly iTunes-ish.
The fun part though is not copying some UI design, but implementing some Apple-like features. For instance, Google+ Messenger seems to copy iMessages while Google Hangouts looks terribly similar to FaceTime.
What else can I say?
PS: What’s really cool about Apple is that it’s really user-friendly and it’s design-friendly. It’s warm and fuzzy and loveable. Android is… black!
